     Daniel J. Madigan, 489 Chenango St., Binghamton, N.Y., a native of this city, died Tuesday in Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, N.Y., after an illness.
     A son of the late Daniel and Margaret Boland Madigan, he was a member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton, and its Holy Name Society. He was a retired employe of the Lackawanna Railroad.
     Surviving are his wife, the former Leona Matthews, five sisters, Mrs. John Muldoon, Jermyn; Mrs. Gerald Casey, Carbondale, and Mrs. Kathleen Evans, Mrs. Wallace Brown and Mrs. Joseph Gallagher, Binghamton.
     The funeral will be Saturday from the Chase Funeral Home, 55 Exchange St., Binghamton, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.²
