     Brenda Sue Erdman is the daughter of Robert A. Erdman and Sandra H. Hippensteel. She married James Casey on 10 October 1992 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18403. The following article appeared in The Sunday Times, November 8, 1992:

     St. Thomas Aquinas Church provided the setting Oct. 10 for the wedding of Brenda Sue Erdman, Dickson City, and James Casey, Archbald.
     The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Erdman, Nescopeck RR 2. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Casey, Archbald.
     The Rev. Gerard M. Gannon and Edward Casey, deacon, cousin of the bridegroom, performed the 3 p.m. ceremony.
     Roberta Erdman, Bellefonte, was maid of honor for her sister.
     William Strumsky, Archbald, was best man. Ushers were David Erdman, Nescopeck, brother of the bride, and Richard Klinko, Archbald.
     A reception followed at Montdale Country Club.
     The bride is a graduate of Central Columbia High School and Marywood College. She is a caseworker for Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging. The bridegroom is a graduate of Valley View High School and Syracuse University. He is employed by Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging and is owner of J. Casey Monument Co.
     Following a trip to Cozumel, Mexico, they reside in Archbald.²

     Robert A. Erdman is the son of Arthur Erdman and Margaret K. Klock. He married Sandra H. Hippensteel on 18 November 1955.²

     Sandra H. Hippensteel is the daughter of M. Lee Hippensteel and Clara Herrington. She married Robert A. Erdman on 18 November 1955.²

     Roberta Erdman is the daughter of Robert A. Erdman and Sandra H. Hippensteel.

     David Erdman is the son of Robert A. Erdman and Sandra H. Hippensteel.

     He married Margery Lutz.²

     She married David B. Wilson.³ Margery was born, at Dunmore, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18512. She was the daughter of Walter Lutz and Maude Kellow. Margery died on 4 April 1993 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA 18505, at age at an unknown age . The following obituary appeared in the April 6, 1993 edition of the Tribune:

     Mrs. Margery L. Wison, Lake Ariel, died Sunday in Mercy Hospital after an illness. She was the wife of David B. Wilson.
     Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Walter and Maude Kellow Lutz, she resided in the Scranton area and in California before moving to Lake Ariel in 1968. She worked in Western Wayne School Distrct hot lunch program and was a member of Lake Ariel United Methodist Church and its Womens Club. She was a former childrens choir director, a church secretary and a scout leader of Troop 242, Scranton, and Troop 102, Lake Ariel.
     Also surviving are four sons, Dr. Stephen B., Groton, N.Y; Jeffery L., Jefferson, Md., Gregory J. and Scott D., both of Lake Ariel; a daughter, Mrs. Carole Zubro, Ontario, Calif; eight grandchildren; a brother, W. Kenneth, Lake Ariel; and a sister, Mrs. Virginia Bradley, Tryon, N.C.
     A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Lake Ariel United Methodist Chruch by the Rev. Ron Onder, pastor.
     There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Laek Ariel United Methodist Church, Box 145, Lake Ariel.⁴.⁵

      Joseph Sweder lived at 513 Jefferson Ave, Jermyn, PA, 18433. Joseph was born on 14 April 1935, at Carbondale General Hospital at Carbondale, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18407.¹ He was born on 15 April 1935 at Mayfield, Pennsylvania.² He was the son of Andrew Sweder and Christine Badwak. Joseph Sweder was a member of St. John's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Mayfield, Pennsylvania. He married Ann Janet Sullivan on 13 October 1956.¹ He resided, at Jermyn, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18433, in 1992. Joseph Sweder died on 2 June 2008 at Carbondale, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, at age 73.³ The following obituary was published on 3 June 2008, at Scranton, Pennsylvania,:

Joseph Sweder Sr., of Carbondale Town-ship, died Monday at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, after a lengthy illness. He and his wife, the former Janet Sullivan, were married for 51 years

Born April 15, 1935, in Mayfield, son of the late Andrew and Christine Badwak Sweder, he was a member of St John's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, May-field, a graduate of Mayfield High School and an Army veteran of the Korean War He was a retired employee of Aspen Square Management. A loving husband, father grandfather and great-grandfather, he enjoyed being outdoors and hunting and fishing with his family

Also surviving are a son, Joseph Sweder Jr., Archbald; four daughters, Michele Casey and husband, Pat, Archbald; Renae Domonoski and husband, Frank, Mayfield; Janine Lee and husband, BiilJermyn; and Maura Wormuth and husband, Walter Carbondale Township; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Jerin and husband, Joe, Mayfield; two brothers, Donald Sweder and wife, Mary, Bellville, N.J; and Andrew Sweder and wife, Carol, Chantilly, Va; nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in St John's Russian, Orthodox Cathedral,
with Requiem services by the Very Rev Mitred Archpriest John Sorochka, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.

Friends may call Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Ryczak-Harrison Funeral Home, 901 Lackawanna Ave., Mayfield. Parastas, Wednesday at 5.²
