     He married Loretta Theresa Casey at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18403. Thomas J. O'Neill was the son of Ernest O'Neill and Lillian Walker. Thomas J. O'Neill was ill with cancer; bowel. He was ill with heart disorder/stroke; valve replacement. Thomas was born, at Mayfield, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18433. Thomas died on 1 April 1978 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA 18505, at age at an unknown age . The following obituary appeared in the Scrantonian, April 2, 1978:
     T. J. O'NEILL, JERMYN, DIES
     
     Thomas J. O'Neill, 619 Washington Ave., Jermyn died Saturday in Mercy Hospital after an illness. His widow is the former Loretta Casey.
     Born in Mayfield, son of the late Ernest and Lillian Walker O'Neill, he was employed by Laurstan Inc., Carbondale. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Jermyn.
     Also surviving are three sons, Thomas Jr. and William, both of Carbondale, and Casey, Jermyn; a daughter, Peggy, at home; a sister, Mrs. Mary Williams, Indianapolis, Ind; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
     The funeral will be Monday from Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Mary Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Mayfield.
     There will be no viewing.1

     He married Charlotte Harris.1 Paul was born on 18 January 1924, at Mayfield, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18433. He was the son of Joseph Hyland and Agnes L. Albaugh. He married Loretta Theresa Casey on 28 June 1991 at Jermyn, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18433.2 Paul died on 2 July 1992 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA 18505, at age 68. The July 4, 1992 edtion of the Scranton Times listed the following obituary:
     Paul A. Hyland
     Paul A. Hyalnd, 451 Jefferson Ave., Jermyn, died Thursday night in Mercy Hospital after an illness. His wife is the former Loretta Casey.
     Born in Mayfield, son of the late Joseph and Agnes Alsbough Hyland, he was employed by Bell of Pennsylvania prior to retirement. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Jermyn; Kinghts of Columbus, Jermyn; Post 610, American Legion, Mayfield, and the Pioneer Gun Club, Jermyn.
     Also surviving are two brothers, James, White Haven, and Josehp, Boone, N.C; three stepsons, Thomas O'Neill, Carbondale; Casey O'Neill, Jermyn RD, and William O'Neill, Mayfield; one stepdaughter, Margaret Wilson, Lake Ariel; several nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Charlotte Harris, and one brother, Charles.
     The funeral will be Monday form the Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington, Ave., Jermyn, with Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Jermyn. Interment, Jermyn Cemetery.
     There will be no calling hours.3.4 His body was interred on 6 July 1992, at Jermyn Cemetery at Jermyn, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18433.1
